This was an interesting look into the Italian Mafia, through the eyes of an Italian. Four short stories about a journalist covering Mafia stories in Palermo. Some things were a little difficult to follow, solely because this book was written for Italians by an Italian. So, not everything fit culturally, but the overall stories were not affected in any way. I would, absolutely, recommend reading this selection. If for no other reason than to gain a glimpse into another culture! |
My personal thoughts on books I've read, there will be no spoilers. I'm a big fan of letting the writing speak for itself. I will share a very broad note about my feelings about the book.
