EINSTEIN'S BEACH HOUSE by Jacob M. Appel

I love short stories, so much variety in one book! Mr. Appel doesn't disappoint, this quite a diverse collection of stories! Hue and Cry, a look at both tolerance and intolerance... done masterfully! La Tristesse Des Herissons, an odd pet and compulsion... what a fun read. Strings, my least favorite, relationships old and new... interesting but left me wanting something more. Limerence, unhealthy and unrequited love... done SO well! Our namesake Einstein's Beach House, simply said... I loved it! The Rod of Asclepius, twisted, perverse, disturbing... you won't forget this one! Sharing The Hostage, not what you might expect... strange and interesting. Paracosmos, takes imaginary friends to a whole new place... bravo!!!
