The Prologue started out like a history text, and had me concerned. Alas, my concern was for naught! This was an entertaining, as well as historic read. It gives a real insight into daily life in Constantinople under the Roman Empire. The characters were well developed, and most rather diabolical. I look forward to the next installment! |
